I read these russian protector books all out of order lol and just finished with Nikolai 2. Your writing has really improved since Ivan and the Nikolai books are some of your best work. You have a good handle on sorting out the timeline of your stories and all the relationships of the characters. I can't wait to read the book about Ten. Until then I hope you and you're family are doing well. I read about your diagnosis in your blogs and I'm so sorry people have been rude to you about your deadlines for these stories. Your stories are wonderful but you have to take care of yourself first. I can't to read more from you. And maybe we'll see a book about Niels? (wink wink)

Written by leading scholars alongside media figures, such as Rhoma Irama and Ishadi SK, the case studies although not focused on theology per se, illuminate how Muslims (and non-Muslims) in Indonesia and Malaysia make sense of their lives within an increasingly pervasive culture of Islamic images, texts, film, songs, and narratives.

I have to admit, I jumped at the chance to read this book. Many of us have been on both sides of the interviewing process, and no matter how prepared we think we are, something always throws us through a loop. `501+ Great Interview Questions for Employers and the Best Answers for Prospective Employees' is a great guide for successful interviews. This book offers excellent preparation for employers, for employees, and for college graduates just entering the workforce. This book could also be used as a business text in an informal setting.

For interviewees, the questions in this book are excellent and helpful for those on-the-spot questions you would never expect during an interview. For interviewers, those same questions offer a great starting point for unique information you can request from prospective employees. These questions are broken down into specific categories in each chapter, and they cover areas as diverse as communication skills, decision making abilities, and business ethics. Once you answer a group of the book's questions, you are given a comprehensive analysis of your answers.

Podmoroff's book is a great guide that makes a helpful tool for all interviewers and interviewees. Great for those who hire

"501+ Great Interview Questions For Employers And The Best Answers For Prospective Employees" is a great read for anyone in charge of hiring for a company.

The author provides excellent questions designed to illicit telling responses about an applicant's history, personality and more. She points out that a lot of qualified applicants come through the doors. You don't want to necessarily interview only on skill, but should concentrate on how well the applicant will mesh within the system with those already working at the job.

The book offers excellent questions, guides on how to interpret answer or what types of answers one should be looking for, as well as examples that any interviewer can learn from. Readers are taught to look for discrepancies, to delve deeper and get a fuller picture of an applicant.

I've been on a lot of interviews and many of them have fallen short, asking only about previous work experience, how it relates to the new job - basically anything involving skills and experience. I really liked that the author is more concerned with how well a new employee will fit into the scheme of things, rather than skills and experience. After all, it is already outlined on his or her applications so there's no need to cover it to in depth. All in all, it is a great book for anyone doing interviews.

Alan Moore and Mitch Jenkins's jazz

I found this book troubling in that it challenged my expectations of an Alan Moore work. This is almost free form literary jazz over the life of Steve Moore. The photography is top notch excellent. The story is winding and unconstrained with only really the final few pages settling back down into a typical narrative - and even that narration is decidedly unsettling.

This is something I had to read twice: once I read it thinking I was reading the usual unusual Alan Moore work, and that reading was failing me (or I it). Then I went back to it trying to feel the rhythms, to experience it rather than to "read" it, and I liked it a lot more. I've heard parts of Alan's musical version of this book: I feel like the two together would make for an excellent experience.

It's an extremely interesting piece. I don't think it's for everyone, but is marvelously well done.

FWIW: I bought this in the Oversized Hardcover edition: while it was gigantic, I would believe that that the paperback normal sized version would do a huge disservice to this piece. If you want this, spend the extra ducats and get the oversized hardcover edition.

This was a book that started out great.....was well written......and addressed a topic that unfortunately, is far too common.
.....but....it skims the surface only.

It skims it wonderfully ....but.....surely the author could have taken a bit more time to walk the reader through this awfully complex and life changing issue...provide more details...more examples....more help.

I admire the author...he made some great points....I just wish he would have remembered what it was like when he was suffering....and the issues he had to overcome
It deserves more...much more than just skimming....and the reader needs much more to gain the skills needed to make all the changes.

The content is great and if you just want to plow ahead and read without caring what comes next, this could be for you. Nanda Nachimuthu works as a principal architect with Emirates Airlines, Dubai. He grew up in a joint family set up and holds an engineering degree from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and an advanced Internet programming certification from IIT Kharagpur. He has 18 years of experience in IT, which includes 12 years as an architect in various technologies such as J2EE, SOA, ESB, Cloud, big data, and mobility. He has designed, architected, and delivered many national and large-scale commercial projects. He is also involved in design and development of various products in the insurance, finance, logistics, and life sciences domains. His hobbies include travelling, painting, and literature. He is also involved in various pro bono consulting activities, where he finds a way to utilize his extra time and innovative ideas in order to become practical and useful for the society. He is the founder of JCOE.in, a portal that deals with the Java Center of Excellence (CoE) activities, which is useful for the Java community and companies.

No Java Annotation -- Spring Security Annotations Entirely Skipped in this Thin, Useless Book

What a dismal book. A total waste of money. 164 pages long and it is allegedly "the" book. This was just published and yet it does not contain anything about Annotation-based Spring Security. Try searching for HttpSecurity and you will find zero hits.

This is just a dismal attempt to extract some cash from the Java development community.

This book is the single best source to learn spring security framework, it explains spring framework support to secure the web applications, web services (SOAP and Restful) ,JSF, Apache Wiket) . Also a best source to learn integration of spring with other security infrastructure components LDAP, Apache Directory server, JASS and SAML implementation. The source code and configuration files provided in the book will help the developers to setup the basic environment required to implement the spring security features. It a practical offering solutions with code example to the help programmers to configure the spring security features. An important contribution to the Spring community.
